Hey gang - just purchased a mid-60s Grundg KS 680 U stereo console. It's in really good shape, 9.5/10 on the cabinet, and 8/10 on the electronics. It powers up but the sound is not really clear. It's never been taken apart and it appears all components are there. It has the tuner section, a DUAL phonograph, and a Grundig reel-to-reel tape (haven't gotten to that yet).
All manuals and accessories are present and in great condition.
So the question is, what's it worth?
I seriously have no intention on selling it as I've been looking for this very unit for years, but I do want to know what kind of money I might want to put into it - and if that's a good investment for the long term.
I am pretty handy, having worked as a TV/audio tech for 17 years in a former life, but do not have the tools or time any more to do much more than cleaning volume pots and switches.

My thanks in advance for your opinions and comments.
