A family friend came by today and said her husband was going to throw out "these old records". Said I could have them if I wanted them Heck yeah! :banana:

I got a couple good ones in here; many that I didn't have before. I'm so glad I've got a turntable. Where would I be without one?

I'm just beginning into vinyl and even I can see that is a nice little treasure trove....

One thing for sure .... If someone's wife gave me gifts like that, my wife would want to know WTF was going on between us ???
 
Wow, what a great gift! Invite them over for dinner or something, to say "Thanks!" Just don't play those records in the background, or they might regret their decision and want them back! :D
 
Hey that's great. Just for fun check out your Let It Be. Is it a red label AR34001? Then check on side one for the credits on maggie mae. It's either "P.D.", or P.D. with their names (harder to find).

Nice LP's.
 
Awesome.
"Let It Bleed" is such a great album. My experience has been that it's hard to find a good copy.
 
"The Rolling Stones - Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass)"

I ended up buying two copies of that LP (one was loaned out and never returned). Both had a synthesized stereo process applied to the songs and it really messed up "Satisfaction" (sound level drops, channel balance shifts...). My 2002 ABKCO SACD reissue thankfully does not have this problem, but I am still looking for a record company exec I can yell at for messing up the best track on my LP(s). :twak:
