When We Left The Earth, NASA Documentary

[Eric H]

Watched this superb six part, 2008 Doc on Netflix over the last couple weeks.

It covers everything from the Mercury program through the Hubble using lots of restored NASA films and interviews with the Astronauts and Ground Crew.

I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Space Flight. :thmbsp::thmbsp:

Bought my Dad the set in a metal box. He worked at the tracking stations here.

I've been watching it on Netflix, great series, esp. the early Mercury and Gemini up through Apollo.

makes me really glad it was made before neil armstrong passed. as well as chris kraft, gene cranz, glynn lunney, and the rest of the living mercury/gemini/apollo crew... an excellent look into the history of it for anyone, especially the young who wonder what's all the fuss. rest in peace: the apollo 1 crew.

Terrific series. I'm another space exploration nut who especially loves the Apollo history.
