Where can I buy this fuse?

Hello,

Please let me know where I can buy a fuse for my Scott Stereomaster 637S.

My local radioshack doesn't carry it. I already checked amazon and ebay with no luck. it is 2.5 a 125 v. 5x25mm.

Using a 250V fuse for a 125V design is ok, using a 125V fuse for a 250V fuse is not ok.

Yup. 125V fuses are harder to find. A 250V fuse of the same amp rating and delay (slow blow, fast blow, etc) is perfectly fine.

There's a reason WHY the fuse is blown.
I'd find out WHY, before intalling a replacement fuse.

I am working on this same model of Scott receiver. Has anyone seen this before? There appears to be glue at the base of a few of these capacitors but there are two different colors of glue which leads me to believe some of it is glue and some is Capacitor leakage??? Why the hell did the factories have to use brown glue?

And what the hell is the green on top of one of the caps?

Looks like all glue to me. The caps I've seen leaking but not totally spewed their guts exhibited more of a staining "water mark" ring (albeit not water, per se) extending out farther from the caps.

I thought the same thing but the two different colors and consistencies made no sense. The dark part it brittle and the lighter part is rubbery.

Also the Green on top of the cap???

Never seen green. I still think it's all glue. Well, not the green, but that cap doesn't appear bulged so I still have doubts it's leakage.
