Where might I find a grill for a Paradigm speaker?

I bought a pair of 9se mk3 speakers on Craigslist and they're missing one grill. Anyone know where I could find a replacement grill? I asked Paradigm about replacements for them and was told they couldn't provide them anymore. Any leads?

How hard would they be to remake yourself? You have one of them so that is a huge bonus if you want to make your own. I don't think tracking down a grill would be the easiest thing to do, If you're not the handiest, could take the one to a cabinetshop and have them make a frame, then cover it with grill fabric (found at many sources online) You might also want to consider recovering the other one in case the fabrics don't match
 
Gotcha. I've toyed with the idea of making another myself, but I don't have the tools or any experience doing such a thing. I would be open to finding a place that could put the frame together and put on some grill cloth. I live in Nashville, TN. By some stretch, do you (or anyone who reads this thread, of course) know a good place to go for that? :stupid:
 
Youve gotta know someone with a jigsaw and a drill. Doesnt take much more than that and a sharpie. Home Depot sells 1/4 sheets of plywood.
Keep an eye on Oaktreevintage.com, quite the revolving door he's got with salvage parts. Patience required. It'll show up when you stop looking.
 
Even though I have both of the grills for my Polk Monitor 10B's the frames are made out of what amounts to real thick paper. I will purchase a sheet of half inch A/A plywood or a real dense particle board and cut out new frames using on of the originals to as a trace with a jig saw, if you are patient you can use a coping saw it will do a great job but will just take a little longer. Use a edge router to bevel the edges and the frame is done. Your Paradigm speakers use the same black speaker cloth My10B's use and that is available from Simply Speakers which advertises on this forum. use a small upholstery stapler to attach it. You may have to purchase some of this equipment but a jigsaw, the stapler, and high speed router are dead handy to have.
 
You could get frames made at any cabinetshop (just give them a plan) and you can take them to an upholsterer to get....upholstered
