for local pickup guitar shops are reputed to carry it

Ok, lets see, there's Deoxit Gold, D5, F5, G5, faderlube, gosh, so many Deoxits, so little time. Which one will 'do it all'. I have to clean contacts on Marantz amp. Or are they really all the same contents, different labels?

D5 is the standard DeoxIT cleaner/deoxidizer product.

F5 is FaderLube, a cleaner/lube designed for conductive plastics, carbon trace potentiometers, etc.

G5 is Deoxit Gold (aka ProGold) and is a contact enhancer designed for plated metal contact surfaces.

Which one depends on what you are cleaning. I usually use D5 in a spray can. If I need to limit the over spray, I shoot some in a small container and use a Q tip or just spray the Q tip directly.
