Oh thought you were talking about my house :D

Anyway there is a little black n white i think its addison bakelite that would pay for that whole collection, wish I was in canada.

i see one radio in that lot that is worth quite a few $$$.if anyone is near london ontario pm as i wouldnt mind getting just the one radio.:D bolly where are you ?

Looks like an AKer's place to me. :D

Nice way to get an instant start on a collection. Bulk-buy them all. Spend the rest of your life cleaning, repairing, and listing on eBay, lest your heirs take them to the dump.

Seriously, there are a few nice things there. I'm past the point where I would want the headache of so many ordinary units at once (clutter, even nice audio-clutter, only appeals up to a point), but I'd love to cherry-pick a few favorites from that collection!

I'm also glad that these were saved from oblivion and apparently kept in decent condition, indoors. Better than those TVs and things recently posted about that were rotting away in a leaky shed of a place! now these have a chance to continue surviving, in the hands of appreciative collectors.

Shoot, I thought it was going to be Jasper's Fruit Stand here in St. Louis. He has over 10,000, and wants a few more... An interesting kinda fellow, even if both oars don't always dip at the same time.

Hey boys I'm in London, ON proper so if anyone wants me to drop by and take a look I'd be only too happy to oblige. It would give me an excuse..."But honey, I'm doing a favour!" You know the drill...

That's fairly standard. I know I post in multiple locations in/around London to maximize response.

Sold a pair of Mach 1s Sunday for a good price in Kitchener. Good thing I was heading that way, met a really good contact too. The guy has been in vintage audio for over 30 years.

thanks 71 challenger, im going to see if i can get in touch with him and see if the radio is still available and take it from there.

I went into Jaspers once, years ago as a rookie with no tube tester. Asked if he knew how I could get some tubes tested. Guy was no help at all, actually a bit rude. I know he must know 57 collectors in STL alone. :worried:
