Which amp and why?

Take the KA-9100 all the way. It was the TOTL amp for the 1977-1979 model years.
Has 100 wpc at 8 ohms. It has one of the best phono sections of any vintage amp built. Only problem is it has power pack IC's that are unobtainable. Some people may say don't turn it up loud because you may blow the ICs, but I say turn it up till it wakes the dead and it won't hurt a thing.
I have a KA-9100 that my mom bought brand new back in 1979 and its still running like a champ 30 years later.
The KA-7002 was built during the 1972-1975 model years. Its a good amp but not as good as the KA-9100 because the KA-7002 has older technology than the 9100 has.
I say go for the KA-9100.
