Well, it's been more than a year since I started this thread.
I see that KA-907 is finally starting to get a recognition that it deserves!
Unfortunately, the price is rising accordingly.
More than one year ago, I got two minty 907s from German eBay (one came with handles). One was 360euros, the other was 400euros.
In recent months there were three auctions with 907s described as broken and/or part units, and they all went for more than 300 euros!
The last auction was for a repaired unit with all output transistors replaced (with who knows what - there were no details) and it went for approximately 750 euros (around 900 $ US)!

I know that paper specs are paper specs, but on paper KA-907 seems more impressive than model 600.
Power bandwidth is 5 to 100.000Hz
Slew rate is +/-230V/µS
Rise time is 0.8µS
Damping factor (DC - 20KHz) is 100
Etc., etc....
