Which Amps Sould I Keep??

I have accumulated a stack of solid states and I wanted to get some advice from the AK crowd on which amps are worth holding on to and which ones I should sell. All are in great condition and have no issues. I'm okay with keeping them all but only if they are worth keeping.
Here's the list:

Sansui 7070
Sansui 4900Z
Sansui Z-9000X
Marantz 2270
Kenwood KR-4070
JVC JR-S300
Sanyo Plus 75

Thanks for the help and advice in advance fellow AKers!

I'd hang on to the Marantz and the Sansuis. Of the other 3, the Kenwood is the better, but still not as good as the Sansuis. I just like the looks of the Marantz and the sound decent.

Just FYI - I have heard that the Sanyos do not like 4 ohm loads.

Also in general the condition of the gear should be considered. A lot of that stuff is probably close to the age where it would need a recap.

I would keep the San 7070,Marantz 2270,the Sanyo and the Kenny. That's without seeing or hearing them of course.

It's tough to say without seeing and hearing how they work with your system(s). IMHO the 7070 and 2270 are the definite keepers. I'll be the first to admit, sometimes the best sounding receiver isn't dictated by make or model, rather what works/sounds best.

Any way you slice it, you've got some classic gear. Enjoy it.

The Sansui 7070 and the Marantz 2270 are very cool pieces ! Are their faceplates in perfect condition ?

I'd keep the nicest of those two... sell all the rest and spend that income on an audio-tech for a restoration that'll send that unit up to the next level.

Now, you'll have a definite keeper !

I would keep the one you like to listen to the most, and the second best one for your backup, although I've had a couple Kenwood KR-4070s (silver one right, not the later BPC model) and they are perfectly fine as journey backups to get you between rigs.

The Marantz 2270 may certainly be the most mainsteam popular big name, but if you prefer another, go ahead and sell it to someone who desires it more and use the funds to serve you as you please.

I'm in a bit of a elimination mode myself, and looking at selling off most of the stuff that's not getting played around here. It just doesn't make any sense for me to have it if it's not being used. :dunno:
