Which difference from black to 8MZ body with 8MZ stylus?

I have a Grado Black body that I'd like to update with a 8MZ stylus: however now I have chance to buy a 8MZ signature body for 100 euros. Which difference should I find in sound quality with the full 8MZ combo compared to black/8MZ combo? Ìt is worthwhile to spend other 100 euro over the other 150 for the stylus? I have another big doubt: perhaps is a better option to save the money and buy a MCZ stylus to fit on Black body loaded to 10 Kohm, compared to the 8MZ body/stylus option? Thank very much in advance to who will give me its own advice.

Thank you very much, Marc, I read that thread just before posting mine: I put the question in another form: if I give 100 to the performance of the 8MZ with its stylus, which is the percentage of the performance of the Black body with 8MZ stylus? To me is very important to know if there is a massive improvement in performance because I'm really in a budget. Can you help me to have an idea about that (and other forumers, of course)?

The best I can answer that is.............that is up to the rest of your system and how resolving it is. I'm not sure at all of how common the Grado cartridge is in your part of the world. But If I was looking at an entry level Grado body in which to install the 8MZ stylus, I would be looking at a "Z" series before the Prestige series. Or any of the older series before that in the upper class of the series such as the F-1, G-1 G2, M1, M2, X1, X2.

I have an 8MZ stylus in a potted ZC+ (= Green) and it sounds quite nice. The ZC+ body has a rich, thick character.

Hello Beatcomber, what happened to your G2 body? I've read this old thread of yours and I was impressed.

I still have it here, but it's presently not being used. I found it quite a bit leaner in character than my other Grados, even with the loading adjusted. It's not your "standard" Grado sound!

Now that you've reminded me, maybe I'll mount it on my Thorens/Jelco and give it a whirl!
