Which Sansui Receiver

Ok here is the deal... I haven't had a receiver since the 70's. I just picked up some SP 2500 and a SD 7000 all in great shape. What receiver matches up best the Six, Seven, Eight. My room mate on Shemya had the Six and I loved it, but just don't know what matches up best with the 2500. The SP 2500 has 80w peak with 98db. I would appreciate some help on this.
Thanks

Third thread about the same thing?:scratch2:

You can edit you posts rather than starting a new thread......

Not sure where your question is going, but I would personally always go for the TOTL or as close to as possible, more features, more power (headroom) more development which often results in better audio quality...
But at the end of the day you have to like what you have, sometimes it takes a few purchases to get what you want...
Its almost always a journey of system evolution........

eight

I just got my Eight working.
I'm not a huge Sansui fan but I love that Eight.

Good luck finding one though....they don't seem to pop up much. (tho I see one now at the auction site....not mine...no way.....keeping mine)

Seek out the EIGHT - My best allrounder with some serious ooomph. Part old school colored, but wonderful sounding. Part refined, crystaline and correct as the newer gear.
