Hi all, looking for some expert advice...I recently got my first Marantz
which I really like, and I'm looking to pair it with some bookshelf speakers. I'm currently connecting Sony SS-U3030's which are decent, but I'm hoping to improve the sound quality. Here's what I'm looking at...
Micca MB42X (new, Amazon) - I love the size and there are tons of positive reviews
Mission 760i (eBay) - Cool vintage units, also with positive reviews
I'm open to other recommendations but I want to keep them under $150 and under 14" high. They're for a relatively small room, about 12x16. I'd like something clean/crisp with punchy bass.
On a side note, I hadn't heard a Marantz in over 20 years, and was blown away by the amazing sound. It wasn't a $5 garage sale find, but I think I got a pretty good deal at $150 on LetGo. I cleaned it up and replaced the lamps with LEDs.
Thanks in advance for the advice!
