Which turntable is build better?

I'm planning on buying a new turntable since the old one my dad gave me died.

So I've been looking online for second hand turntables and I am debating whether I should buy a Audio Technica AT-LP5 for 150 euros without an element or a dual 505-2 with an AT 91 b cartridge for 110 euros

I've read good things about both so I am curious which one is better build because the cartridge is always replacable.

I feel like that'd be a tough call for me. If you got the AT would you still be able to afford a nice cartridge?

As far as the two TT's go, I started out with Dual belt drives and made my way to Japanese direct drives, which I've come to prefer (generally) for their accuracy and reliability (I can't speak specifically to the 505, but my 10xx and 12xx Duals seemed to take a little more work to maintain/repair).

I don't see that the AT has quartz lock, or any speed adjustment for that matter. If it's not a quartz lock direct drive, that would leave me thinking it's a pretty low-end, entry level model -- for me the real beauty of a direct drive is not only the fast, high torque motors but rock solid the speed accuracy.

Sorry for thinking out loud, but I know it helps me sometimes when I'm making a decision like this.

I would have some money to spare on a good cartridge but I'm just starting off with the whole vanilla and turntable hobby. So this would be my first real turntable
