Which turntable to keep?

I have a mint condition Pioneer PL-10 that works great. A friend gave me a Philips 437. Needs a belt and a cartridge or stylus. Is one better than the other?

I'm thinking I'll keep the Pioneer and give the Philips to my son.

Both seem to be entry level belt drives. the philips seems to have auto stop, but the pioneer looks nicer. I'd choose the pioneer just because of the S shaped arm. But auto stop does have its benefits

had a 437 and dumped it for the far-more robustly built PL-41. Don't know that exact Pioneer, but would suspect it to be better than the Philips.

I'm going to find a belt and a new inexpensive cartridge for it.
