Original CD-A9.8 Da Vinci HD CD Player - WORLDS BEST - AUDIOPHILE - $640 (Saint Paul)

Here it is, the best sounding CD player money can buy. This baby closes that huge gap between Vinyl and CD's, hear your music like you never have before. Simply Stunning!

(the remote, manual, and a power cable will be included with this unit; the brass feet would be extra)

I don't think it is 'White Van' in the sense that speakers often are, but you're right to be suspicious. All I could find was a 6 Moons review of a previous unit, and some current sales on eBay, with higher prices. Whether it is worth what they are charging is another matter entirely, but it appears to be a legitimate Chinese manufacturer who is at least trying to make a high-end product. Might be crap, might be good, but probably not counterfeit, trying to make you think it's something else. At least as far as I can tell.

I thought Da Vinci was a legit brand. Considering they are $1000+ when new 640 doesn't sound horrible.

And you have to admit it has a unique and interesting look to it.
