Hi everyone,

I recently bought one copy of, I thought would be a N95HE made by Zafira. So the box said. But inside of the box I found a stylus which is certainly not a N95 of any kind. I tried to put it in M44/55, M75, N91, it is sticking out of all of them. So yeah, you got it right, I have no idea what it is. Can some of you help me out? Thanks in advance!

It certainly looks like aftermarket N95 stylus, if it does not fit it is just poorly made, or does not fit the bodies you tried (I never tried N95 on these other bodies, so not sure about that).

There are no after-market styli that will match the original Shure N95HE "nude" hyper-elliptical

The closest in sound and build quality are from JICO in Japan

That’s definitely a cheap aftermarket version of an N95 stylus. The aftermarkets share traits. And definitely not a stylus for a flat-bottomed M44/55/91/75/V15-I or V15-II.

Yes, absolutely looks like a stylus for the M95.
EDIT - I am mistaken about this, see posts from @malden. Next time I will use my glasses while using AK ;)

Have fun

Here are a couple of links to better versions of the VN15E which is what the OP has...

V15 II & M91E (with VN15E stylus) as you can see, the VN15E stylus will not seat all the way into a M91 cartridge body

Where did you buy the stylus from?

The plastic holding the cantilever / diamant is not as tall on this one as it is on any N95 variation. Though the diamant protection is what they share both...

That is certainly an interesting option, but not for my pocket for the moment. When I bought what I thought was a N95HE copy, I did it out of curiosity and because I thought that I didn't risk a lot for 30€...
