Oh yeah. Mesmerized by meters. I knew there was something I didn't like about my Concept.

+1 on the meters! How about this trivia question ... who can answer ... many meters have "VU" on them ... What does VU stand for?

I like old analog meters on receivers and tape decks.

What's up GEARTECH!? If it's worth anything I didn't know what VU meant. Glad I know now!

[TOM1040]

Yes. I do although the Marantz MA9S2 meters are small comparded to my MC402.

[gmku]

I like them too but as has been said they're, at least for me, just eye candy. They look all lit up in dark room. I've got power meters on my Sansui 7070dB and FM tuning and signal meters on my Yamaha CR-620.

I wish I still had a cassette deck with needle meters. Those are the coolest.

Meteors? Yeah, man...way cool!

[Rod Beauvex]

No no, not meteors, METERS. Like this one.

Sexy and analog.

[sonci]

Why they suddenly stopped making them??:scratch2:

I would'nt mind a BPC with 2 nice meters..

[dnewma04]

I like the unit of measurement. I like them on amps even if they don't serve much of a purpose.

The pennies saved go straight into the pockets at the top. Trickle up theory.

I love analog meters . . . even on my digital apps. Thats one of the reasons my favorite media player is, yup, VUPlayer:

The meters are one of the reasons I find Luxman equipment so sexy.
