The Onkyo preamp is a good one, and I'm wondering about the AudioLogic reciever and the GE turntable. Might be below the radar good things, or flat out junk.
Its an odd list. and its hard to know what to make of the promise to add 30 -50 more components. If you are going to the effort of listing some of that stuff which isn't exactly stellar, wouldn't it make sense to list the lot?

Looks like someone had a serious case of "beginner's vintage audio-holic syndrome", a hi-fi variant of obsessive-compulsive must-buy disorder!
I'm betting the seller is an AKer, although after the tone of this thread I wound't blame them if they didn't admit it!

I'll assume that turntable with the cartridge dangling from the headshell and laying on it's side is one of the 20% of the pieces that isn't 100% :lmao:
He should sell off the nicer more worthy pieces separately and deal with the dreck in a separate listing. Someone might want that SX-750, but not the rest of the baggage that comes with it.

What's crazy is that there are (well were before the recession) folks who actually sell piles of BPC, by cleaning and listing them one at a time on ebay.
There was a retired local guy who had a cubic ton of shiite like this. He was making a nice business out of selling through ebay, for $30 or $40 a pop on average for the BPC 80s casette decks and receivers.
When it was time to move to Florida, he needed to unload in bulk through local CL. His listing was sufficiently vague to attract my attention, so I paid a visit - yikes. Literally wall to ceiling BPC. He was very organized with the ebay selling, used a nice template for his listings, started his listings at 99 cents, had a room dedicated to packing and shipping, said he had a really good success rate with selling but he was out of time with the move coming up.
I looked him up on ebay and watched his activity / history. Sure enough, he consistently found people who would bid on Kenwood dual cassette decks and Sounddesign all-in-one systems.
I think he found someone to take his inventory, I don't know how/why since the stuff I saw was 95% dreck like this pile.
