Whose speakers are these???

Allright- I bought these 2-way speakers because I thought they were Advents. However, after looking around the web after bringing them home, I don't recognize the logo as being an Advent one. Does anyone recognize it from these pics? I can post some 'naked' pics later when I get home-the woofer surround was TOTALLY shot-barely even there at all. Can anybody identify these for me??? Thanks!

:scratch2:

I couldn't find same logo as MA Audio on a google search. Are these pretty good speakers? Any experience?

If there's very-little online, you might get redirected back to your own thread. That's happened to me several times when Googling.

Those DO have an 'east coast' look to them. They don't look cheap. I figured they were some Canadian house-brand or perhaps a house-brand for some regional east-coast stereo chain. When I first looked at them I thought, "Madvent"?

Thanks. If anyone has anymore info on these, please chime in. Here's the nudies as promised. I'll obviously need to find some foam.

Anyone see anything interesting? I'm planning on refoaming and probably recapping after that.

CTS phenolic ring tweeter... overall, looks about as generic as can be. Not necessarily a bad thing, just nothing unique there.

Yep, looks like your typical affordable 70s 2-way that doesn't suck (unless they mucked it up in some non-obvious way). Crossover is probably a 1-cap affair.

Well, it appears you geniuses have identified these for me- appear to be American Monitor 10X speakers. HOWEVER, I see nothing about them on the web. This seems like a roadblock to refoaming. Where do I go from here to get the foam gaskets?
