i thought this would be an interesting thread. why did you pick your avatar? and (if it is someone famous) who is it?
i will start.... my avatar is Greg Sage, lead guitar and vocalist from a band called the Wipers. highly influencial.. a basic google search will tell all. i picked it because the wipers, and greg sage are in my top ten of song writers..
so c'mon everyone....tell us about yours!:thmbsp:

The Wipers are from Portland, Oregon are they not? I am a Oregonian so I have a soft spot from any bands that hail from Portland.

My avatar is the first issue of comic, Miracleman and it's written by one of my favorite writers, Alan Moore. I love all of his stuff.

Fair enuff. Most people don't know what the hell a superbee is anyways.

;)

mine is a little herd of model sansui, 500a, don't here about them much, got one here whating for some tubes to come in. and it is the only pic i could get resized to fit lol.

Although I'm quite a calm and collected person, there's something about angry music that I love. Stravinsky is what does it for me, I've been on a mission to collect his complete works. As of right now I think all I'm missing is one early opera and some small chamber pieces.

I will not delve into symbolism and metaphor here:

my avatar typically shows the wanton destruction of guitars, reflective of my user name

I figured mine should be accurate; a stereo forum should have something stereo related. Et voilá! A bouncing speaker.
