Darn, I just checked and there are no cats for sale on Audiogon.
My cat's ears are a faithful device for measuring the quality of sound. They are forward for good, back for bad. They usually go back faster than I admit to myself that I made a bad move.
I knew it John, you tote that Audiophile Libertarian stuff and what? Probably a twelve pound tabby is making judgement calls on you Hifi tinkering in your house!
You are so correct on the Dog aspect. !!!! When my wife is out and the dog and I are rocking out she has the same look of displeasure that the stereo is too loud !!
And very very nice stereo !!!
Maybe people haven't posted, because everyone accepts that cat vibes improve audio quality. That's not controversial — it's science.

It'd true. He runs the show. 22lb orange tabby. He's the true audiophile here, I'm just taking orders. He whispers new gear selections in my ears at night. It's why I'm never settled for long. I wish he had less expensive taste![]()

cats are cool. eos.
Harry, my listening buddy. Always in the sweet spot...I have to move him over just to sit down. He likes Pink Floyd, his smaller sister likes opera. I think that they put us in a better mindset to get our minds off of the gear and into the music.
My friend painted this as part of a project she is doing, involving 100 portraits of 100 different cats and dogs. Harry got to be in the project after meeting her in an ad that he was in (he's a star!).
