At this point, she has not asked me to help her sell the gear, only to provide some price estimates, which I have done.

If you didn't already, let her know that any estimate using ebay as the source should deduct ~25% for fees, packing, and shipping. To get gear priced where it will fly locally she might consider deducting another 10-15%. Sometimes those selling only consider the top price and not what comes out of it to reach the net. If she is selling things herself, knowing that might prevent her from declining a fair offer.
