Wilco new record, live webcast tonight

Play it moderately and when she wakes?! (providing she's at least 3) she's ready to get up!!!

It's not Metallica for Gods' sake!

Nah, she would wake up. She'll sleep through a lot of things, but anything different? She'll wake up. I also just found out mom wants to take her to visit grandma for a few hours tonight, so I'll be ready to rock(or is that dad-rock:D) in a few hours.:music:

I'm beginning to curse myself for following this thread.......I'm a big fan and spent $175 or so of money I don't have.......on the album(s) Vinyl Ghost also, tee, record box (now that' just cool) and a bunch of other stuff. C'est la Vie!

I have the record box (aka Wilco roadcase) and it's pretty awesome. First off, I remember those boxes from back in the day although none that I saw were ever as nice as the Wilco box. I wanted that box for some time and then just before Christmas last year they were running a sale on top of a sale in the Wilco store and I was able to pick it up for a good price so I splurged along with vinyl Kicking televesion and vinyl AM which were the only 2 I didn't have on vinyl. The box (along with it's contents - every Wilco album on vinyl) is now one of my most prized possessions.

The vinyl edition of A Ghost Is Born is good, however it's the only Wilco LP that was released by Rhinovinyl and I always thought it didn't sound as good as the others. Same goes for Uncle Tupelo Anodyne, which is another Rhinovinyl release. Could be my tin ear though.

Yeah I kind of knew this but you never know. Plus that's good news to have and have heard firsthand for future reference.

Funny story..........here in Charlotte in '07 or so, I had waited out back for them for 30 minutes or so. Tweed and Nels came out. Hadn't planned on hanging out so after the show I hurriedly grabbed a Sharpie. (Jeff is fairly nervous around strangers btw. Not real chatty.)

Or so I thought! Upon washing it and seeing the sigs disappear?! I was crushed and not high or drunk so it was no dream. It turns out I had used a dry erase marker instead! :dammit:

Take note of that all you autograph hounds! My Mini Disc taping came out very, very well however. Small consolation. It's a damn nice feeling Tee tho'! Barbed Wire Wilco in Gray/Orange.

"Art of almost" doesn't sound good with the sub in my truck. Factory unit, not one of those street shakers. Really like that song on my main system.

"One sunday morning" is a great song to end the first CD with. Nels Cline was cut loose on both, glad to finally hear that.

There are two versions of "black moon" on the deluxe edition.

Hey who might have ordered their album and received it? I got my other albums, poster, box, etc but no new album! Dammit!

Anyway my son loved this picture! (from Ghost btw)

Once I got the "Kung Fu" note about it shipping I got it the next day. (today) They're right up the road in Raleigh for some strange ass reason. Maybe they left a bunch of stuff when they played there last month?! Dunno.

Here's what the Wilco Record Box looks like. It's really the same on you see at your local record store. However even though I just saw one of these yesterday at my store, it seemed cheap while this one seems better built.

Oh.....the power of the mind to confuse oneself with!

So here's a pic of the record store version and the Wilco version. Only difference is the Wilco version is $5.00 cheaper.
