Lost Willard Scott , was a nice fellow and I remember delivering him The Washington Post early in the mornings in Arlington when I was a kid. He was also the original Bozo the clown and Ronald McDonald. He started his career at WRC TV in Washington DC RIP Sir.

Willard Scott and Ed walker were on the radio (WRC-980 AM) as the Joy Boys.

My mom went to high school the same time he was there at George Washington High in Alexandria, VA. RIP Willard.
 
I used to listen to The Joy Boys (1955-1974) with a cheesy transistor radio and earplug when I was very young ...
And ... I found it - The Last Broadcast! (video of Ed and Willard on WRC-AM)

I did the Bozo show when I was very young many years ago -
so I probably touched a couple of Willard's personas over the years!
