Wireless Advent speakers converted to NONE wireless?

Hi all, I picked up a set of Advent Wireless speakers today at a thrift store for $4...BUT...they did not have the wireless hub portion..just the speakers.
My question, how hard would it be to make them none wireless?
Just a little project to try. I would rehouse them from the current plastic cases.

It would probably be fairly straight forward to add a couple terminals .... but I'd have to ask why? Don't know which model but in all likelihood they aren't that special, the only real plus to those speakers is the flexibility that wireless gives them. You would likely be better off picking up something else. What is it about these that makes you want to make use of them?

Well it seemed like a good idea at the time. LOL And I wasn't expecting much from them anyway, just a project of sorts. I want to make some nice wooden speaker boxes for my work bench. Saw these and figured, what the heck.
Can always swap things out for different components.

Just take out the amp components and make them passive.

I did it once, as they show up all the time without the transmitter.

Absolutely nothing special tho....Wouldnt do it again.

Very good I will try that. Yes I agree, not likely worth the effort. But if I can make them decent enough to use in the garage I can put my Minimus 7 in my music room.

Well I pulled them apart. A little snip here a little solder there and bingo...un wireless speakers. They sound decent enough. Going to build some decent boxes for them because the plastic they are in now is garbage. Hopefully some really wooden will give them more life.
