Wiring SR 4.5 woofers

I just got as a present 2 huge Infinity SR 4.5 speakers in a pretty good shape only I have to rewire the woofers. Each speaker has two 12" Watkins Dual Drive woofers. Can someone who knows tell me what is the right way to wire them is it Series or Parallel or a combination?

Each woofer has its own crossover. You need to get the schematic.

Your woofers if original are marked, 2 ohm on one side and 4 on the other. For sure one side will be marked 2 ohm either way. Google RS 4.5 schematic and you should find the wiring code.

If I remember right, black & red is the 2 ohm and solid red and striped red is 4 ohm. Black is the positive on the 2 ohm and solid red is positive on the 4 ohm side. Should be the same for both woofers.

Here is one of my spares waiting for warmer weather to refoam, find this mark and everything will fall into place using the schematic online.

Are you sure that's not RS-4.5? Reference Series.

Hopefully someone here will have the info, but have you checked the web for a schematic or better yet a service manual for them?

Complicated beast, but you should be able to download that pdf and follow the schematics.
