As a military vet myself, Happy Thanksgiving to our men/women in uniform stationed both domestic and abroad. Safe travels and Godspeed to each and every one of you during this Holiday season.

I was enroute to my first base on Thanksgiving day 1986. Somehow with the time change and travel time, it disappeared and we arrived at Rammstein after Thanksgiving. :scratch2: Anyway, it was the most memorable Thanksgiving I never had.

You'll need to eat two helpings of Turkey this year to compensate then.

Here's to our troops, hopefully they will be home soon.

Absolutely, Dave. And thank you for your service.
Hopefully they will be home soon, but will also be given what they need to complete their mission and return victorious.

Hats off to all my shipmates past, present, and future this holiday season no matter what branch they serve in! Brings back memories... watching it snow sideways while on quarterdeck watch on my sub in Holy Loch, Scotland to all those tuff years in the Caribean and Key West. and even a few underway!
