i picked up a Wollensack 3M model 8055 8-track player/recorder. Still in original box.

and a bunch of SUN Records 8-track tapes.

$2 garage sale score.

i will post pics tomorrow. anyone know anything about these machines? from what I have read online they are supposed to be one of the nicer 8-track players/recorders....?

They are among the nicer 8 track machines made. They do however have weaker motors which manifests itself on pulling double play tapes. They sound great.
