Wood added inside of headphone earcups?

Just as the title states I'm curious about adding wood resonators inside some headphones, or all that have the space, to change FR and have possible favorable effects. I'm going to follow through with a mod to test but just curious if anyone else has attempted this or heard of this working in the past. I have some various Fostex that I'm looking at using the cup space to do some work with. Think T20rp or TR90 etc.

Wood resonators? Hmmm. The normal addition is some cotton batting. Head-Fi should have some well-worked out mods for your Fostex.

Generally, of course, the goal is to decrease resonance within transducer materials. The idea seems, at best, counter-intuitive to me. Let us know what you find.
