Woofers for L150A

Hi there,
Well I begin to be a little bit tired with the medium of my 4312.
I envision to go to L250Ti/240Ti , but it is very difficult to find.
I'm on the way to buy a pair of L150A , but in this case I need to change both woofers.
Not easy to find.
Any idea?

So, both orig woofers are gone? Are the Passives still with them? I beleive teh original woofers in the L150's are the same as the L112 and a few others. Check with my neighbor, fellow AKer dc270. He is a well known speaker guru around these parts. I think they are LE12A or 122H, not sure

Yep, L112's and also used in the 120Ti. I wasn't able to find anything else outside the L150 series.

Are the woofers missing or do they need repair?

The 128H/H-1 was used in the following cabinets (among others):

L112
L150
L150A
120Ti
4412

Other "compatible" woofers would include the 122A, 126A and 129H. While not absolutely the same, JBL has frequently listed the 128H as "acceptable replacement" for all of them. They'd be fine in the L150, IME.

Regards,
Gordon.

123A is different. I mean, big-time difference in parameters, efficiency, resistance/impedance, cone profile, frequency response, and construction.

However, 123A frame can be reconed with 128H kit, making an equivalent to 122A...

Regards,
Gordon.
