WOOHOO!!! Daylight Savings Time this weekend!!

I don't like changing either. My preference would be no DST at all. 9:30pm and not completely dark in summer feels wrong to me.

Good to know it is ending in Europe. Hopefully it will happen here someday.

Yeah, I think its just another way for the man to keep us down.

Here, for as long as I can remember the powers that be start floating the idea of keeping DST year around. Hasn't happened yet and probably won't!

I think The "Car Talk" guys even proposed double-daylight-savings time, so it would stay light until 10:00 at night!

IMO, we've got this thing backwards. Moving the clock forward should happen in the fall. I don't care how long it stays dark in the morning. I want it to stay light later in the winter.

Screws up spring skiing. The sun is not up as high as soon, so the spring corn doesn't have as much time to "go off" and create that awesome hero snow. Just leave it standard. Or put DST back to where it was before it got moved up into March.

What we really need, moonlight savings time. I could always use about an hour or three extra of sleep.

Someone just pick a number and go with it--all year long. Changing the clock twice a year doesn't make the days or nights any longer or shorter--that's not determined by a clock on the wall--or my microwave, phone or coffee maker.

Now if we could just get this temperature thing out of the way--that'd be nice. This morning when I took my dog out it was 8 degrees, with a wind-chill of -7F, and it hasn't gotten a whole hell of a lot better all day long.
