I know that most folks have already seen these, but thought I'd share them just the same... :tears:

9/11 is a thorn in every American's side that will never heal...

I hope those involved in the destruction die a death for every life lost on 9/11

It is amazing less than 3000 people died in that. 50,000 worked in the 2 towers. Not counting the surrounding buildings.

These kinda remind me of the Matthew Brady photos of the Civil War, or WW1 & WW2 battlefield pics- Terrible destruction & devastation, to be sure, yet somehow strangely beautiful & starkly powerful in their own way at the same time. Yes, we should NEVER forget what happened to us that terrible day.

I start to appreciate the fact that they came mostly straight down.

If they had pivoted at the base, the destruction would have extended at least a thousand feet in some directions, and then with any type of domino effect, well, words fail me.
