Would a brand new Onkyo TX-8220 be an upgrade, or improvement, in sound quality over my 1998 Pioneer VSX-D457? I'd like to think it would be. Your thoughts?
Edit: with the Onkyo I would be using its internal DAC vs the current external DAC listed in my signature.
