Would it be okay to re-purpose Altec 15 XO for Altec model 19?

I have an opportunity to purchase a pair of Altec 15 crossover locally and I own a model 19.

I wish to keep everything stock for my 19s. (was planning on recapping but couldn't find time).

would it be possible to modify an Altec 15 crossover to use in my 19s? (with original spec). I'm willing to recap or add any components to make this 15 XO into a model 19 XO.

the XOs to have similar shape with two big pots but I thought I'd still ask to see if this is a silly move. thank you!1741121041698.png

The value is in the nice front & back mounting plate ( plus the variable Lpads with the proper knobs ), so price your purchase accordingly.

The rest ( LCR passives ) won't do you much good.

Here's the schematic for the Model 15 ( the circled values represent the horn driver and woofer >> iow; they aren't coils and resistors that you can scavenge for later usege ) ;

really appreciate your input here.

yes! I was going after the plate and the pots mainly. do you know if the pots are the same spec at least?
Looking at 19 XO. yes it does seem like the rest of component can't be re-used much. I was hoping that I could maybe at least re use the inductors.

The M19 wiring simply uses 2 ( out of 3 ) connectors on the bog-standard ( 100Watt ) 8 ohm variable Lpads.

I don't know if the M15 uses the same approach ( obviously with smaller wattage types ).

It doesn't really matter though, cause Lpads are affordable enough at Parts Express ( you really only need 50 watt types, IMHO ).
