Would this make decent speaker cable?

Otoh, if you braided half a dozen strands together to make your cable, you wouldn't need speaker stands. The speakers would be suspended in mid-air.

agree with the other posters, 10 ga in just 19 strands is going to be fairly stiff.

However it is rated for pulling in 1/2 inch conduit which means it has a certain amount of flexibility. But, it will probably be more like a coat hanger than lampcord or genuine speaker cable.

stiff

Yes, it will be stiff. For $55 you can order a large roll of actual speaker wire online or go to the hardware store (Home Depot) and buy a roll of heavy guage speaker wire.

I'm not sure what the 10ga roll is worth with the crazy metal market but $55 may be above scrap price so it isn't even a deal that way either.

IF you are hooking up power amps or large driving lights in a car, this may be a good deal.

That is good power cable. I have used it many times when grounding industrial electrical systems, especially control cabinets (green sheath). It is pretty stiff stuff, but not as bad as one might think. While this could be made to work, I, too, believe that regular speaker cable would serve your purposes better. However, that is a great price on that conductor, if you have the need for it.
