So, I gave my wife's cousin some old solid state analog stuff as an x-mas gift. He just got his first apartment with a buddy/roomate. Cheapo TT, decent Kenwood integrated Amp and some KLH model 31's. I figured it would get him started. He said it's the coolest gift he's ever gotten.:smoke:

Then...for me, I've now got Sirius radio going in my Prius and an iPod touch currently streaming Pandora on my main system. So far I'm loving the iPod as a streaming source, but I haven't given it a full test. That's tomorrow.:banana:

Also, my wife's aunt handed down a super clean copy of Revolver. Hardly been played.:music:

Anyone else give or receive the gift of Audio this year?

i gave my nieces a couple of samson microphones, a vintage 20 watt realistic pa amp and a new realistic pa speaker. my sister in law really hates me now!

I listed some of my gifts in anotherr thread and then I thought I may sound like I am bragging but I will sahre what I got some friends, one has a "littlelite" turntable lamp to open, another RF noise caps, yet another new "Widespread panic" album " and band T-shirt. I dont have alot of money so my gifts are pretty humble and my friends were very good to me for the Holidays, in short I will say a new tube Pre, tone arm re-wire, cd's and DVD's were my gifts.
I hope others were also given the gift of music or gear, cheers
