Wannabe Minimalist
Sort of a three way deal here. Got a nice pair of Baldwin fixer-uppers for a nice price from Jon (x-25). It was a 'local only' deal that wasn't so local to me, as in "4 hours each way". No way. Oh well....
Enter Tom (kansei). Tom was gonna' head over to Jon's place to pick up a preamp, AND he was gonna' be heading down to my local area a few days later. Soooo.... he offered to transport the amps for me. THAT I could work with.
Things couldn't have fallen in place any better. Had the pleasure of meeting up with Tom this morning, grabbing the amps, and of course chatting audio for about an hour.
