xlr balanced cables for mc275 & c2200

I just ordered a set of monster 1000 series xlr balance cables ($70) for my Mc275 and c2200 however after trying to set it up I realize both Mcintosh units have female inputs and my cable are male to female.

Am i missing something here? I take it I need male to male xlr cables to hook this up? They don't seem to common. Who sells such cables at an affordable rate?

The output of the C2200 should be male as the input of the amp are female XLR. Your C2200 should have both.

Yeah, the C2200 will have XLR for both inputs and outputs, if you're having this problem you're likely confusing one with the other. The cables you ordered will work.

Ooops your right, I was in a rush and pulled out the side with the inputs xlr's. Should have looks at the other side.
