:lmao: I wonder why every manufacturer hasn't gone with those open-edge woofers? :scratch2:

I contacted the seller to try to do a little educating. It was well received. This was his response:"OK Gary I have seen this many times and just thought it was a construction feature seeing so many vintage items. I will edit the description and do thank you for your concern , it was very constructive. Carl"

I think if they are going to sell it they may as well know right from wrong, otherwise some poor unsuspecting schmuck gets left holding the bag.

Now listen, she said they sound great -- are you tryin to ruin that great sound? :D

Didn't he describe the woofer as 'curled edge'?

He must think we were born yesterday. I think he was playing dumb with Kingbubba. A 4 year old would notice those surrounds.

Then again, he actually showcased the woofer pix, so....

thanks, I love this stuff

Reflecting variety???
Whaddya do, point the drivers at the wall, a la 901?
Tapehead's right, this is good entertainment!!

That is truely funny.

Woofers are of the oped edge type. :lmao:

You have to give him credit. He's better then all of the politicians.

Are those really even made by Bose? Or did someone just stick a Bose sticker on the front?

I've never seen Bose looke like that, maybe it's a given with the molded foam grill, look pretty conventional 3-way to me (direct reflecting):headscrat

Sonic Art?

From what I see they're made by Bose for 'Sonic Art', whatever that is. Surely a Bose 'afficianado' will purchase these gems with the special woofer surrounds and be perfectly content knowing they've 'bought the best'.

I've seen the SYNCOM thing on Bose speakers, and the connections look like those found on Bose speakers.
