Yes the digital meter is awesome...and you need to watch it too if you like the speakers you have.
I am saying this again...I know I sound like a broken record.... but comes from personal experience. I fried my old JBL's L100s with my Pioneer A-90. I wish the Pioneer had one of these meters...I got carried away and kaput JBL.
