Hello, this is my first post so I will do a quick introduction.
I'm relatively new to the audiophile community. I got into this whole world when my co-worker convinced me to buy his KEF 105.2 II speakers and now here I am.
My main set up is KEF 105 + CA-2010 + SL-5100 TT & Wiim streamer.
My smaller set up uses a NS625 + CR600 + AT120 TT & bluetooth module
I recently got my hands on a cheap A-1 that managed to power up but needed a full recap. In the process I found the transistors on the electrolytic board is fried.
I'm amazed the protection relay was not engaged when I first bought the unit.
So I am looking into replacements for TR133/134 (2SC1913) and TR135/136 (2SA913). I looked through another thread that mentioned MJE15032G /MJE15033G pairing.
However upon research I also found MJE350G and MJE340G that may be suitable. They are both available in Digikey and I was wondering if fellow AKers could recommend a specific pairing.
Appreciate the help and looking forward to getting involved in the community. I will post some pictures of the recap soon.
