Yamaha A760 II - Speakers not working

I've recently acquired a Yamaha A760 II. The amp turns on just fine, and the headphones output works too, but the speaker outputs doesn't seem to work.. Any idea what's wrong with it?

Speaker select switch SW301 may have and issue..Did you try both speakers A and B ?

Yep, i've tried to plug the speakers to the B terminal, and there's still no sound :scratch2:

Well deoxit the switch and inspect/reflow the solder connections on the switches circuit board and associated wiring as needed..

Oh btw it's rather hard to acquire deoxit in my area.. my question is will other brand of contact cleaner works? i've read somewhere that deoxit is different from other contact cleaner..

I guess you'll just have to use whatever you can get.Just make sure its safe for plastics.

You can buy Deoxit online, delivered, for less than you'll buy it in any store.
