Yamaha amp + pre

Found a yamaha M-40 amp and matching C-40 pre amp.
Now I don't need any more amps but....
$150 and its mine, should I pull the trigger?

that is tempting to me as well, but if you like the gear you have, and don't intend to flip it, then I'd say nope! maybe for $60... but again, I don't know the condition and those are really nice amps. just my 2 Cents.

I got a demo of them, sounded real nice, not a scratch on em (that I could see)

thats a tough decision... if the $150 is easy to pull outta your pocket, then do it i guess. that's why we are passionate about this hobby, no?

At worst you could re-sell them for at least what you paid if not a little more.

If no shipping is involved I'd go for it.

I see from your signature you have Sansui AU-717. Personally I love Yamaha sound! But Sui is a great amp as well... It's up to you...
