Yamaha Anti-skate weight weight?

I picked up a Yamaha PF-50 TT that used a cone shape stringed weight for the anti-skate, but of course it is missing. Does anyone know the weight so I can make one as close to spec to replace the factory set? Thanks. :scratch2:

Try using a 1/32 to 1/16 oz. tungsten barrel weight or bell weight as a substitute for the time being.

They are relatively low cost and should be not too difficult to find.

Make-shift antiskate

Here is a photo of the original AS set up & and one of my home-brewed ( it still has a string tail under the weight ) design using a large paper clip, clipped off eye end of a needle, 1/16 fish sinker & string. Not SO bad, eh. LOL. It seems to do the job. Any sugestions on how to make the PH-50 itself a little heavier, it is a fairly light TT. :thmbsp:

Same TT as you

gary7, I've got the same Yamaha PF-50 as you a few weeks ago.

2 Questions:

-Where did you manage to find information and/or picture of this TT ?

-How did you fix you antiskate part problem ?

Thanks,
