I was wondering if any AK members own the Yamaha RX-550 receiver. I am considering upgrading to this model since I just purchased a Samsung 55" smart TV. I currently own an older Yamaha RXV-1200 that I purchased new a very long time ago. It has worked perfectly for my needs with no problems, but upgrading to a newer design with HDMI, wireless, and 4HD features seems to make sense.

Look at previous year Yamaha models they are usually a huge price drop from the current model without too much change.
I bought an A830 for $499 from Amazon and it's pretty solid.
