IMO the c2 is a simpler and better designed pre over the c4- I own both. Seems the c2 doesn't cook itself like the c4 does however- the c4 has more features over the c2. Either way, i'm replacing both my yamaha pre's with an accuphase c200- it should blow both of them out of the water.
