Yamaha C-4 Preamplifier Recap

Just bought a used Yamaha C-4 Preamplifier. Sounds great with my Yamaha MX-2 Power amp. Which area should I recap to get the biggest bang for the buck sound-wise? Anyone have a parts list for ordering purposes? Thanks.

The TONE/ Headphone amplifier board usually has a few caps with corroded leads from leaky caps.
 
I did all of the caps in mine. As long as you're in there, you might as well. I used film caps for all of the small electrolytics. I love my C4, and it was worth rebuilding. The power supply can get a little hot, so replacing those caps with quality parts won't hurt. I also cleaned and regreased the transistors on heatsinks in the power supply and made sure my new solder joints were solid. I can send you my parts list, just PM me. I'd still go back and double check me because I usually miss a couple things and yours may differ a little. But it's probably a good place to start. Cleaning those wafer switches is also an important step with the C4.
 
Wafer switches are key..Slide switches may need attention.The metal case covering the two slide switches between the wafer switches.Need to have the metal case solder connections desoldered and resoldered. They provide a ground connection between four or five parts of the circuit.And will make real nasty loud pops in both channels if any of the solder connections are cracked while your trying to turn those selector switches. Yikes !! It will definitely get your attention when it trips the protect circuit for your power amplifier..:yikes:
