The price on the Yami, especially the M-80 is a smokin deal. The pair for $400 is still a great deal.

That's too bad. I picked up my last M-80 from Sac.

It went something like this:

Hi, this is Igor.

Hi Igor, If you still have the M-80 available, I will pay your asking price but will you hold it for me until I can find out if my son can come down from Chico and get it? (condition and reason for sale discussed)

Sure, no problem, I'd be glad to. I'll have it hooked up so he can check it out before buying.

That's the way decent, honorable people do business.

Amp was in as-described condition, functional and only required a slight bias/offset tuning. Unfortunately the UPS pack-n-ship did a lousy job and the binding post board is cracked at the Speaker-A side. :tears:

I e-mailed a seller of a Yamaha R-1000 asking $25 and said I could come over any time and pick it up for the asking price. The response was typical, "Someone offered me $45, are you still interested?" My reply, "Absolutely not. If you want a bidding war, go sell it on e-bay or advertise as OBO."
