Hello all I am new to fixing audio equipment and I have this c80 I just purchased for 200.
So back story I just deoxit all switches and controls and everything went smooth it played and sounded great. The rear rca for the main pre out was slightly temperamental if you touched the rca cables so I cleaned that and it was good after that. Fast forward a day I turned it on with my m80 and plugged my phone into aux and noticed there weren’t any sound, and a buzzing coming from my speaker. When I touch the balance knob I noticed it’s only coming from the left channel, still no sound if I turn it to the right. Also tried different inputs but no success.
The unit seems to have been touched up on solder joints before and Sony glue removed.
Thank you for any input.
